MONO development with ubuntu

This is a little off the subject, but not by too much...

Here is an interesting site that has information about the development of MONO into ubuntu. Hopefully the next version of kubuntu, due out in April, will support the latest version of Mono 1.2.3.1.

You can also find a list of bugs. One of my favorites, leads into whether or not MONO can be packaged with ubuntu now that Microsoft and Novell have made a patent agreement.

After reading all of this, I think maybe for now it would be better to manual compile MONO, instead of using Linux Installer for x86 (all distribution) package.

Since I cannot seem to connect any more, I wiped and reloaded everything with the newer version MONO, maybe I will try that. Otherwise, I will have to revert back to kubuntu Server. I know that worked.
